Our Mission

To connect humans directly as an easy way to help each other, save human lives, feel connection and gratitude without boundaries or bureaucracy.

We believe that

Compassion and humanity do not have borders, nations, or political views. They do not need anyone’s permission to happen.

There are millions of people who need some financial support to sustain their lives. There are also millions of people who are willing and able to help their fellow humans.

All the current ways of support via non-profit organizations do not allow for personal human-to-human connection, being certain of when and who receives your support, feeling that you really helped someone, or saying thank you for the helpee. We want to change this.

Who we are

We are a group of friends from Ukraine and Russia who do not believe that human unity should be limited by national, political, or geographical boundaries. We believe that people are born compassionate and want to help others as much as they need help themselves.

Maria Gorina

Mother of two, MBA, entrepreneur, human.

“I am Russian and I believe that human life has precious value, that surpasses any political interests. I am suffering with all humans in these terrible circumstances — I feel pain, shame, anger, and grieve with my fellow humans. How hard it must be for mothers who are unable to feed their baby or find shelter for their child. How bitter and unfair it must feel for an elderly person to see her house and garden destroyed by a missile. I just can’t be inactive, observing that pain and suffering. HHU is my way of active compassion.”

Kor

Irina Korolenko

Mother, wife, IT project manager, human.

“I was born and raised in Ukraine. I have family and friends all over the country. Facing the atrocities of war in the 21st century is beyond my worst nightmares. Yet, millions of people face it every day, not just in Ukraine, but in many countries. Families have to flee to save their children, provide food for the elderly, and to survive. While we cannot help everyone, we can still help some, and even change their lives. I believe that to give a helping hand in a situation where someone needs it most is a life-altering experience — both for the helper and the helpee.”

Our Non-Profit Fiscal Partner
