Maria is 69 years old and had a difficult life. All her life she lived in a village in the Vinnitsa region of Ukraine. Maria became disabled in childhood, she lost her leg at an early age. When she grew older she battled cancer, and defeated the disease. Maria lives on a little help from the state and so far she has managed to make ends meet. But 2 weeks ago she had yet another misfortune – this elderly woman fell and broke her arm. Situation is very difficult for her right now, she lives on her own and requires help with every day’s tasks, additional medicine, and she needs to pay the doctors. In addition to that food prices have skyrocketed, but it is very important for Maria to eat well now and support her body in recovery. We would like to ask for your help for Maria to provide her with food and medicine.
